Introduction
The Vergrandis Crur Cobra meaning the Short legged cobra is the future of the King Cobra and is 50 million years ahead of 2010 and is different to the King Cobra as it has 4 fins like its ancestors, but it usually lives above the water and on land hunting animals on trees such as birds and tree snakes.

Habitat
The Short Legged Cobra lives in the forest areas like the King Cobra but they mainly live on the trees as the Short Legged Cobra has unique fins which can stick on trees to climb up and attack prey such as birds, caterpillas, beetles and other insects. They mostly 5000m above sea level and usually live in trees as they do not get targeted at other animals on the floor such as leapards etc. The Short Legged Cobras usually climb trees up to above 50m high and build their nests in the strongest branches of the tree.
The enemies of the Short Legged Cobra is threated by primates such as monkeys and orangutans. The eggs of the Short Legged Cobra is usually mistaken for birds eggs and is sometimes stolen by birds. When thhey encounter enemies they flick out their chicken feet shaped tongue and hiss at the predator when they feel threatened. Also the Short Legged Cobra stands up straight to a 2/3 level to show that they are much bigger than the predator and to show that it is not worth fighting.
The Short Legged Cobra breeds on the most thickest branch of the tree that they meet and the male crosses of the females body like it is starngling it. When mating the female snake will turn upside down
Behavioural Adaptations
1>Hunting
The Short Legged Cobra is camoflaged with the trees as it has a light green colour which is similar to the colour of the moss on the trees. When the Short Legged cobra stricks on its victim it will slowly slither in a circular shape aroun the branch and then bite in a speed around .001 sec. The venom of the Short Legged Cobra can kill a predatbear within 1 minute. When hunting a bird the Short Legged Cobra slithers towards the prey first and strikes at an incredible speed.
2>Mating
When the Short Legged Cobra is mating the female will turn upside down and the male will make a strangling kind of movement on the female. The Males sperm is saved inside the Females ovum and can be reused around 3 times after reproducing once. The Female usually lays 50-90 eggs each time. It has evolved in the way as more eggs would make it more possible for them to be alive and so that they do not become extinct. Structural Adaptations
1>Fins
The fins of the Short Legged Cobra are shorter than the Mosasaurs and are approximatley 30-40cm in length. The fins of the Short Legged Cobra are very special as they can create slime which helps climb up trees. The Short legged Cobra may have evolved this way as they have been bored with their lifestyle in the forest floor.
2>Scale
The scale of the Short Legged Cobra is as rough as 1 sand paper and many predators that try to use their mouth to eat them end up having scratched mouths and when they are stepped on the prdeator becomes the prey as they fall down due to major injuries on the feet of the predator.
Physcological Adaptation
Diet
The Short Legged Cobra feeds on birds, bird eggs and insects. Isects only last for 4 hours food so the Short Legged Cobra feeds mostly on birds and their eggs. The diet of liking to eat birds comes from the revenge of birds which ate the King Cobras eggs. Bibliography
